Enjoy seven rotating taps at Black Mountain Brewery where their brewmaster is known as the “mad scientist” of the Asheville brewing scene. Lookout Brewery has crafted over 80 beers in ranging from smoked Beer-B-Q Rauchbiers to champagne tasting Saisons.
Open 7 days a week, Black Mountain Escape Room will add a thrill to your Black Mountain experience. Once you have escaped the puzzling room, explore the outdoors on the Glassmine Falls Overlook trail. This hike leads to Bullhead Mountain and is mapped to be 3.8 miles, moderately trafficked out and back. This trail features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching.
All of this fun calls for some biscuits and gravy at Louise’s Kitchen or a stack of pancakes at Black Bear Tavern. The best coffee in town is found at Dripolator Coffeehouse. Lunch can be served on the patio of Black Mountain Bistro. Relax for dinner at the Red Rocker Inn, the 2014 and 2016 recipient of the "Best of Show" award at the "Rock the Taste" Chamber of Commerce sponsored restaurant showcase.
